BIOGRAPHY
Ben Reed starting playing drums at the age of nine, and bass at the age of ten. He studied music at Middlesex University (BMus Hons - Jazz). He played bass on Frank Ocean's albums Endless and Blond, and is in Ocean's live band. Ben has worked with David Byrne, Peter Gabriel, Sampha, Mustafa, Frank Dukes, FKA Twigs, Nilufer Yanya, Hayden Thorpe, Orlando Weeks, Etc Etc, Shura, JANA, Richard Russell's Everything is Recorded, Elena Tonra (Daughter), Laura Groves, Quinn Christopherson, Lee-Ann Curren, Ibeyi, Green Gartside, Jai Paul / Paul Institute, Romy Madley Croft, Joviale, Lola Young, Aeris Roves, M T Hadley, Hannah Peel, Dave Okumu, Westerman, Vegyn, Eska, Gwilym Gold, Shabaka Hutchings, Bullion, Sally Potter, Yoshika Colwell, Pete Brown, Eddie Kramer, Anoushka Lucas, Patrick Campbell Lyons (Nirvana UK), Saiichi Sugiyama, Will Archer (aka Slime), Wilma Vritra, Jamie Leeming, Morgan Simpson Group, and George Riley. He has also recorded four albums of his own music (Tall Story, Who Dreams of Hyssop, Station Masters and Bandaged).
