BIOGRAPHY
Ben Reed starting playing drums at the age of nine, and bass at the age of ten. He studied music at Middlesex University (BMus Hons - Jazz). He played bass on Frank Ocean's albums Endless and Blond, and has been in Ocean's touring band. Ben has worked with David Byrne, Peter Gabriel, Rex Orange County, Daniel Caesar, Sampha, Dylan Wiggins, Mustafa, Frank Dukes, FKA Twigs, Nilufer Yanya, Oumou Sangare, Hayden Thorpe, Orlando Weeks, Qwalia, Basia Bartz, Michele Stodart (Magic Numbers), Julian Taylor, Shura, JANA, Richard Russell's Everything is Recorded, Elena Tonra (Daughter), Laura Groves, Ibeyi, Green Gartside (Scritti Politti), Jai Paul / Paul Institute, Romy Madley Croft, Joviale, Lola Young, Aeris Roves, M T Hadley, Hannah Peel, Dave Okumu, Westerman, Vegyn, Eska, Gwilym Gold, Shabaka Hutchings, Bullion, Sally Potter, Yoshika Colwell, Pete Brown, Eddie Kramer, Anoushka Lucas, Patrick Campbell Lyons (Nirvana UK), Saiichi Sugiyama, Will Archer (aka Slime), Jamie Leeming, Alfa Mist, Richard Spaven, Morgan Simpson Group, and George Riley, amongst others.
